It is an absolute landslide.
Loser stoners forgot to show up to the polls while every decent parent was likely there doing the right thing.
Good on ya, ohio.

Shocked. With the country seemingly turning more liberal day by day, I thought sure it would pass.

Gotta love letting the government infringe on personal liberty and maintain a blackmarket system for no apparent reason! I love spending endless tax dollars arresting people for making decisions about their own bodies! Awesome stuff!
fricking idiot.

All the pot dealers showed up to vote, they're like 15% of Ohio's economy now.

Because people can't be trusted with what vegetation they put into their own bodies.

I moved to Seattle this year. Never really touched marijuana back in Louisiana, but it's kind of cool to buy a joint every now and then in a safe, clean, warm environment knowing that it is regulated and taxed to improve the community. Everyone wins! I didn't have much of an opinion about it before I moved here, but with new perspective it's very hard to figure out why anyone would oppose legalization.

Mr. Small Government wants increased state regulations and penalties. Surprised?

seemingly turning more liberal day by day, I thought sure it would pass.
First, it was in an election cycle year that brings out low numbers. The people that vote for types of issues aren't as likely to vote in non-presedential elections.
The other problem was the wording and concerns that this created "monopolies."
I remember it took a few tries to get gambling, so there is a similar precedent. Im sure this will be on the ballot again with a few tweaks to the wording.

I'm so confused. Lefties claiming they love liberty, righties celebrating a lack of liberty.
Guess mainstream politicos are two sides of the same coin.
