Another "small government conservative" all for wasting tens of billions of dollars a year on court appointed lawyers, judges time, jail space, healthcare for inmates, etc. all for a plant that has literally never killed anyone.

It's less a rejection of legalization than it is a rejection of the structure set up in the current proposition. The proposition would have created a shared monopoly of 10 growers. There were some other issues I don't recall offhand, but it was a controversial measure not just because it's pot. I have friends in OH who were undecided on this or even leaning no who are actually in favor of legalization.

Shocked. With the country seemingly turning more liberal day by day, I thought sure it would pass.

Like another poster alluded to earlier, the potheads probably forgot it was election day, or they couldn't motivate themselves to put down the Cheetohs and get off the couch.

I hope you're not in favor of gun control. After all, it's just a piece of metal.

It was voted against because part of the law gave growing rights to just a few specific farms/companies. Corrupt bs.
Don't worry, though. A decent bill will come around and do it the right way.

Again, poor Nick Lachey...

A lot voted no because they wanted to monopolize pot sales
Posted on 11/3/15 at 9:11 pm to panterica
From my understanding they had a seperate bill that was voted for that opens the door for more medical use of weed

Didn't the poles get extended to 9pm in some places due to technical issues? I don't think it's over yet.

I'm with you, but sadly that wasn't the 'conservative' OPs rationale
