I'm not trying to be mean, but saying she could have been injured and then suggesting he should try to remove this student by picking up the whole desk because he "can bench 600 lbs" is ridiculous. He could seriously injure himself or her, especially if she started wiggling around.
shite, Arian Foster just tore his Achilles merely running around yesterday.
Anywho, I usually don't like to see this stuff, but I give two shits about this girl disrupting a classroom like that. Those other kids deserve better than her doing that. She isn't a very sympathetic victim. I think I may be turning into an old man

unfortunately..the Tunas who are defending this defiant teen don't think logically...they react on emotion and I'm starting to believe its not their fault but that they were "born that way"

The bitch was disrupting class and would not leave. Do you think she would care about detention? She should be expelled.

quote:oh God, the horror. A sassy 15 year old girl getting her way. That would keep the cop up at night
if he does carry her out then she wins.
quote:nah, I dont think teenagers need their asses kicked for disturbing class. I don't recall ever seeing someone in one of middle school/high school classes who was disrupting class get their arse kicked by a cop. Usually a detention, suspension, parents called, etc. But omg like you said, that means she'd win
quit trying to justify juvenile behavior and accept the fact that teens need their arse whipped every now and then when they deserve it...

I agree, but I doubt she even cares about that
We need some serious education reform in this country (especially NOLA)

I don't think anyone cares anymore...parents, teachers, or students

with this, I agree, but not with what the cop did. He felt his manhood was questioned when she did not comply.

There is way more to the story that has not come out yet. The media is busy speculating on what it might be instead of asking someone who was present. Media....fail.
Fat mouthed girl who was unable to shut her mouth, denying others the right to get the lesson being taught that day.....fail.
Steroid cop, turning the desk over, then tossing the occupant about 5 feet....fail.
She will learn nothing from this because her parents will retain an attorney who will ask for a steroid tox screen. It will settle out of court for almost a million. She instigated the whole thing and is now enjoying the spoils of victimhood.
Picking a fight with a larger thug, then getting an arse whipping should never be rewarded.

I dont see the problem. she didnt want to get out of the desk. how else was she going to be removed from the class?
Push the desk out of the room while teacher holds the door. If she gets up and hits him, then take her down.

yea well that 15 year old will be an adult one day... someone need to teach her how to behave..anf this officer did so... I'm contributing to his gofundme account...we need people like this in our schools

No, its hers.... she was disrupting class bad enough to have the officer in the first place...then when he showed up she was not complying...
SO she forced him to tip the desk over and throw her? Please. Remember, it's about personal responsibility, right. Both were wrong. He had other options.

what was the officer to do? stand over her and just wait to she if she wanted to get up eventually?
Push the desk out of the room with her in it.

Okay....probably would have gotten up out of her chair and left calmly under escort.

A mini taser for resource cops to use on students who have lost the ability to be quiet when repeatedly told to.
It could be a mini education in itself.
Principals and coaches with paddles are an awesome deterrent. Especially when they enjoy using them.

No moran. That's just to get her out of the classroom. Then suspend or expel her to an alternative school.
