I'm not one to use that as a go-to line in situations like these, but I have no doubt in my mind if this were a white girl at Catholic High, a majority of this board would be after the cop's head.

If that were the case, the girl would have been disciplined accordingly by the teachers, without worrying about interference from the parents, and the girl would not have felt she had the right to disrupt class. Even if she did, she would have been kicked out of school without worrying about bureaucratic, PC bullshite that ruins discipline in school these days.

I see a cop that put his hand under the desk and purposely flipped it on its backside. It's not a stretch to say she could've been seriously hurt from that. Then he proceeded to drag her out like a rag doll.

What is your proposed solution to the problem? Seriously? The SJW reaction would be the same had he grabbed her by the wrist and dragged her out like a child in a grocery store.

Well thats exactly how you get someone out of a desk who isn't complying..... and can you please reference the "numerous" accounts of someone being seriously injured being flipped out of a desk which is situated 1 foot off the floor..thanks

And then I would be on the side of the cop. I already said I don't like a whiney SJW as much as the next guy.

Yea seriously.... lets start hearing some solutions to kids who defy authority..... SJW would stand behind her and wait for her to become ready to comply/behave.... all while the student is insubordinate and disruptive...they are just a soft breed of human

I bet the uncooperative student could afford a suit that costs more than $199.99.

I wouldnt care either way. she got what she wanted, a spectacle. now we get to hear that all school officers need to be black because the black kids cant relate to the officer or vice versa.

What if the girl would've broken her neck getting flipped like that?

What if she had exploded in mid-air, churning out a cloud of helium and they all inhaled it and spoken funny?

Your turn.

well he was doomed to be chastised however he handled the situation... i personally support his method..he didn't hurt her and he showed her who was boss.... and it clearly isn't her..... no harm, no foul..amirite

I'm not sure how you deal with problematic students who have no desire to learn. i doubt threatening with detention/expulsion even resonates.

That said, physical force is disturbing and has no place in a classroom involving a non-violent threat. He will likely lose his job and I wouldn't be shocked if he's prosecuted.

I would hate to be law enforcement though. Damned if you and damned if you don't.

Dude can apparently lift 900lbs so if he just picks up the desk and calmly removes her from the room the reaction is completely different.

Wouldn't handling this exact types of situations be the foundation of his training? I doubt there's a instructer video of how to drag female student from desk?

Also, serious question, are police officers allowed to take steroids? Do they have random drug testing

The guy benches 600 pounds. Hell, he should've went out of his way to embarrass her and carry the whole desk with her in it out of the room if she didn't went to get up. She wasn't threatening his life which is what you'd think the way she got manhandled like that.

Why are we putting kids in jail for disturbing a classroom? Detention? Suspension? Charter school?

If she didn't have a weapon or pose an immediate threat to the class that was completely unnecessary force. Just slide her desk on out the door and take disciplinary action from there. I'm sure that arrest was much more disturbing than anything that girl did.

what if the officer rolled his ankle while carrying her and the desk and dropped her from a lot higher up..then what?

you say he such have just gotten her out of the desk.... and if he does carry her out then she wins..thats what she wants..the attention... she would think she was a queen being carted out still in her desk..

quit trying to justify juvenile behavior and accept the fact that teens need their arse whipped every now and then when they deserve it...

I bet the next student he tries to arrest gets out their desk.
