How are they exploiting the athletes when the majority of the profits they make goes towards the athletes though?

I already said what I had to say. You don't have a clue and you obviously don't get it, so I'm just gonna leave this thread and not waste my time debating with you. Talking to you is like talking to a fricking brick wall.

got compensated via a full scholarship, free meal plan, free athletic training, free athletic treatment, free athletic gear, free room and board, free books and so forth. An education is priceless, and he won't be able to thrive in life if he faces an unfortunate injury during footba

He also was got to show his football talent to nfl scouts/coaches so that he could make a lot of money by being a pro football player.

because the value that the football and basketball programs bring to the school are a frick ton more than the scholarships and everything else they provide

companies can pick and choose who to endorse, why not?

I'm saying the university itself can not pick and choose who to pay. I would support a player making money from outside sources on their likeness.

The NFL's rule doesn't require you to be 3 years removed from HS?

A scholarship isn't worth what these guys make for the school.

Yes it most certainly is for 98% of all cfb players.
CFB players that rise to icon status are rare.only 1.6% of cfb players make.it to the nfl.
So the other 98% are getting a free education/ diploma.

that is the rule. the rule isnt that you have to play NCAA football. my point was that the NFL isnt forcing the kids to play NCAA football but theres no way in hell you get drafted if you dont. so kids are basically forced to singed LOIs

Cfb players that actually create money by themselves are rare as hell and are the outliers. Tebow,Manziel, Reggie Bush.

If players were good enough to get drafted after HS they can't because of the NFL's rule.
