The 1908 streak is impressive in itself. It's hard to be that consistently bad for over 100 years.

I hate to see a good streak broken. This is one of them. I feel like the Red Sox became just another team after they won theirs.

I don't. They deserve the "curse", and all the shitty baseball outcomes it can deliver.

Cardinals fans around the world will drink Cubs fans tears after we beat them senseless.

How long will it take for some idiotic Cubs fans to try and bring a goat to Wrigley to try and reverse that stupid "goat curse"

I never dreamed LSU would win the NC after suffering thru the bad years. But they did it!

The Red Sox were cursed. But they did it!

The Cubs? No fricking way!

I just thought about it and there's probably no one alive that remembers the Cubs winning the World Series. That is really sad.

The are two franchises I am convinced will never win in my lifetime. The Cubs, and the Toronto Maple Leafs. I don't care whether they do or not, I just don't see it happening

I don't. But they have a great chance at doing it within the next ten years. At least if they win, some of the "mystique" will die down like it did with fake Red Sox fans after they had some success for a couple years.

My grandpa died three years ago and he was 101 years old...a month shy of 102. Therefore he was practically 102 years old when he died in his sleep in the house he purchased with my grandmother in 1932.

Even he wasn't alive when the Cubs last won the World Series.

LOL

Considering you be 107 if you were born in 1908 and you'd need to be probably a few years younger to remember anything.
