Season one was great also. S2 may be better though.

Haven't seen S1. Is it as good as S2?
They're pretty close. Billy Bob Thornton's character is better than any from this season, though.

I like how the dumb butcher manages to be sort of a badass.

He is the Butcher of Luverne.

This show just keeps getting better.

What model car is that. Rear engine?
Yes, a Chevy Corvair. politician Ralph Nader made his name with a book based partially on the perceived unsafety of this car. Saying it explodes in wrecks.

What does everyone think is going to happen with Dodd's daughter? Will she tell the KC gangsters everything or will she end up siding with her family?

I think she gets killed off. Also, curious to see if the boy says anything.

--bloody confrontations earned by the suspense of previous episodes
--suspenseful and thought-provoking conversation about Camus and the American Dream in a butcher's shop
--Bruce Campbell as Ronald Reagan
--Ted Danson
Not sure how it gets better than this.

When Robert Barone's head showed up in a fricking hat box, I turned to my wife and said, "This show just don't give a frick!"

I can't wait for next episode already. Almost wish I had waited until the whole season was out and binge watch like I did with season one.

The war hungry older Gerhardt brother and the Indian are absolutely killing it. The brother's facial expressions and just jovial attitude towards violence are portrayed perfectly.

What direction will season 3 go?
Back to 2006 or maybe farther back when the Gerhardts were starting up?
So many possibilities.

Just got caught up. Fantastic show so far. Older brother and Indian and Mom are all doing a great job. I'm curious what the alien angle is. I like the referencing of what they did in Vietnam as well.

After reflection I wondered if the alien angle is actually a Native American spirit/vision angle that directed him to so seamlessly connect the dots to the butcher and his wife in Luverne.

Jeffrey Donovan as Dodd Gerhardt has to be nominated for an Emmy. Dude is awesome. Forgot he was on Burn Notice few years back. So was Bruce Campbell. He did a pretty good Reagan too. So many great characters all in one show. I have a feeling Patrick Wilson is going to flex some bad arse before long.
Can't stand I missed the S1 marathon before this season.

Mike Milligan is probably my favorite character this season, out of many good choices.

Casting was spot on this season. It should rack up on Emmy's
