I'm not sure why the indian let him live. They just kind of cut away from that scene.
I like this season, but I may be in the minority in thinking that last season was miles better.

Just binge watched and caught up with the whole season. I thought season 1 was the best thing on TV last year. And they have not missed a beat. I can't believe more people are not watching it.

Finally caught up. It started out okay but picked up steam as the war heated up.
I want to slap the Kirsten Dunst character so bad.
I also wonder why the Indian only knocked out one of the twins. He could have had anyone deliver the head. That was a dangerous oversight that may come back to haunt him.

I think the characters last season were better, but only by a little. This season is still really, really awesome and the best thing on TV right now.
It was always going to be hard to top BBT's character and performance but credit to the show runners and writers for totally nailing this sequel. Wish I could have said the same for True Detective.

I agree. If they were merely looking to make a point in time reference, then long gas lines, double digit inflation and double digit interest rates would have been enough to allow the viewer to recall the Carter years.
Although I will say Bruce Campbell did a great job in the role.
Glad the butcher girl didn't get whacked.

The Reagan stuff just added another level of weirdness and fun to the show. I voted for Reagan twice and had no problem with his portrayal. This isn't a historical documentary.

This. Everything about this show is a beautifully shot live action cartoon. These are all caricatures, especially Reagan. I laughed out loud at his talk with Solverson in the bathroom
