Lsu Tennessee after Rita was hottest I've ever been.

Was this the game where we "lost" but then Tennessee had 10 men on the field so we were granted one play after regulation ended and JJ ran it in?

I've never seen an opposing sideline AND home fans so angry.

Texas A & M in the early 90s is the benchmark. It was around noon or 1 PM. Stadium ran out of ice before half and thats before bottled water was being sold. For the 2nd half in the northeast corner there were only 2 people left in my section. EMS was carrying people out on stretchers. For people that dont spend a lot of time in the heat tomorrow will be very dangerous.

Should there be some kind of safety issue with these September CBS games that would have them pick games with temperature in mind?

Players are more likely to be injured in the heat tomorrow than they were from the lightning in the McNeese game.

You sure? App state was pretty damn hot

Just looked it up, it was 92 degrees in Baton Rouge for App State, with a 10 AM kickoff. By noon it literally felt like the stadium was descending into hell it was so hot. There was no wind in the stadium and 65% humidity. Absolutely miserable experience except for the Tigers winning of course.

First game that came to mind for me as being the hottest as well. That was 1992 and a week after Hurricane Andrew.

Sitting on the west side for that North Texas game that kicked off at like 8am bc of that hurricane was hands down the most brutal game I've been to.

Sweet should be a lot of empty seats then. Nice and quiet in the stands.

No you have Tennessee games mixed up. For the record they had 13 men on defense that play. Steven Ridley scored the untimed TD. Never saw a game where our players and coaches were so confused we totally confused the other team. Talk about pulling a game out of your arse.

Exactly. Every native should know that from March to October it's going to be humid and more than likely in the 90's.
