I see the Saints and Tigers are on the road that weekend. I may need to show up. Is it during the day or mostly a night thing? I can easily go to this for a few hours then head to Christians for the tigers if its a night game, or vice versa.

Just trying to get acclimated with the goings on in this big arse city. I live too far away from the action to not have a definite plan.

Yet the way you like to hate on the brewery, you'd think either:

1 - You had their beer, think it's pretty average, so you don't get the praise.

2 - They screwed you out of some money.

Either of those would make your negativity understandable. But if either of those isn't the case, then I just don't get it.

this is incorrect. Ben and Darren co-own Petrol. Ben handles beer and Darren handles food.

So, it was a change in the law then?

Correct, The change was in the same set of bills passed in 2013 that allowed Jester King to become a brewpub and still distribute and St Arnold to sell directly to the public.

I hear their new IPA's are pretty good. I'll have to wait for them to bottle it or for a trip to Houston to have it.

I do find the overuse of cuss words to be a bit childish, though. Maybe it's just me getting older.

Hope they do well.

You're right. I don't. So please help me out here. If the Brash owner stole money from someone, then inform us. I don't want to give my dollars to someone like that. If he's doing Jared Fogle shite, then please let us know.

Other than that... Just don't understand your negativity.

I don't remember posting any opinions of Brash outside of one thread in which I stated my thoughts about their moving out of Texas and back again.

I haven't posted anything negative in this thread about Brash, and in fact, in my last posted, hoped they do well.

I should be in BR a good bit this fall, and I think I can probably get you a crowler or growler of some of their stuff one of the next times I head into town. I think you have my number/email so just let me know if you definitely want something, and I'll try to figure out a weekend I can make it happen.
