It seems like the competition is pretty fierce at the WR position after Dupree & Dural, with Chark improving and Tyron Johnson perhaps ready to make an immediate contribution. So where does this leave Quinn, who surely hopes for a much improved season from last year.

And on the younger Fournette, will he get playing time, will he play offense, defense or special teams?

It would be interesting to read the thoughts of the Rant.

Lanard probably wont play this year but Quinn will have a role. If he improves his hands he could start in the slot easily.

Quinn will have a role, catch the football and he would not have gotten into doghouse.

Lanard is a project at best, they have him listed at RB but unless a lot of injuries happened he's not a SEC caliber RB. My guess is he will have to earn special teams time but most likely will redshirt this fall.

This.

Quinn has great speed and strength and runs excellent routes. I think his head got in his way last year and led to drops. If he gets his hands together, he could be an elite wide receiver.

Lanard will probably play special teams or redshirt IMO.

Quinn will see the field this year. A lot actually

Lanard is an easy RS candidate.

Quinn: Moderate at most given Dural and Dupree. Jennings will probably only look their way.

Lanard: None.

If Diarse doesn't have a bigger role in the offense next season, I will be mad. He was clearly the best WR after Duarl and Dupre.

Then there is Chark, who looked good in spring, but thats about all we have seen from him. Wouldn't be the first time Miles talked up a player, and then didn't play him.

Its always hard to project freshman WRs, so until games start being played nobody on here has any clue what Tyron Johnson will provide for us.

So I would say :
1) Dural
2) Dupre
3) Diarse
and then 4, 5, and 6 are all probably a wash between Chark, Quinn and TJ. Really just depends on formations, plays, etc.

Lanard won't play next year in all likelihood

Yeah, didn't forget Diarse intentionally--thanks for reminding me. Again, he will be up there competing for that third receiver slot and will probably make some big plays like he did last season.

Also, I realized Lanard could very well be red shirted-- just wanted to know if that was the consensus among much of the fan base.

Lanard is a surefire redshirt. Quinn will have his chances throughout the season if his fundamentals & hands improves. Quinn, Diarse, and Johnson are going to be in a heated battle to be the slot man.

This is what I see happening.

Not to mention, Dupree will be bouncing between the slot & WR2 position.

Hopefully Dupre will be featured like Kiffin used Cooper. Everything comes down to how much our WR corps improves under Coach Ball.

It will be interesting to see what these two do this year as with many others. Lanard may get in on special teams. Quinn looks like he will be the holder on place kicks. If you see a couple guys like T Johnson, Jazz, Dillon and maybe even Jackson playing WR before Quinn, it is probably not a good sign for him.
