the news star,

Q: Is it ever a consideration as far as who can accept being the backup quarterback better?

A: “I don’t see it that way. I see it as the ability to play that guy. In other words, whoever starts that first game has to realize there is another guy. It depends on how summer goes if that guy separates himself. He’s proven by a great summer’s work that he is ready to be the quarterback, then that’s what happens. But if that’s not what happens, then the idea that we have a guy who will compete with him whoever the starter might be, and might could come in on the second series, I think there’s an advantage to that as well. We’re in the deciding process of who is the best quarterback for our team.’’

The answers Les gives show that he seems pretty sure that AJ will be back IMO.

Harris still doesn't know the Playbook well enough and still hasn't shown the ability to quickly process information and run the Offense as efficiently or effectively enough for Les Miles/Cam Cameron to be comfortable with him as the starter.

He better take leaps and bounds over the Summer and into Fall camp! Had his "RS" year in 2014, so it's now time to put up or shut up, as both Johnny and Jameis won the Heisman in their second year on campus. Harris has the advantage of at least playing in a few games, instead of redshirting and not playing at all........

I'm sorry you can't understand. That must make life tough for you; all these people speaking English and you can't understand what they mean.

So? We don't need Harris to be Johnny or Jameis.

I don't know why the news star posted this yesterday. This is from Les' pre-summer teleconference in May, two months ago. Any QB comments aren't reflective of post arrest developments.

I really don't want the LSU head coach to be consider normal by fans.

and this isn't a knock against you, but Les Miles has an economics degree from one of the best schools in the country. He is smarter than 95% of LSU's fanbase...again not a knock on the fans, he's just very intelligent. Intelligent people don't always answer questions in a simplified manner. They can still be very relatable, which Les is.

When Miles answer questions it's almost as if he's purposely avoiding talking down to the interviewer. He's not trying to prove how smart he is. Some coaches out there do the exact opposite,i.e. Mike Gundy.

anyway, I'm sure this too pro-Miles for the Rant.

I could draw a lot of parallels between this board and a teenage girl's facebook page.
