In your opinion, which state provides the best overall quality of life, schools/education and job opportunities?

Does Idaho have a strong job market? I've never been there.

Asheville, North Carolina. Still the south but people from all over the country. Very creative, chill, simpatico population. I love this town and western NC in general. But Louisiana will always be home.

Utah

Extremely tight knit community, friendly.

Very low crime and other social pathologies.

Nice scenery and outdoor activities

Wealthy and healthy

Not too far from other "destination" states such as CA and CO

It actually doesnt. Best places for employment are large states/cities. Or industrial cities (midland)

Thats what I thought. It seems like a nice place to visit but the lack of job opportunities might cause it to be ranked lower on the "best places to live" list.

Too many lunatic, batshit Mormons. I couldn't deal with it and probably would get arrested for calling them out on their ludicrous bullshite.

Live in Oregon and it is the best for me and many others but I'd consider Montana, Idaho, Washington, or Alaska in no order.
