“I reviewed the fight and kept score. I won by two points, but a decision has been made and we have to accept it,” Pacquiao said via nst.com. “I (would) like that [a rematch with Mayweather]. I want that. But my focus right now is my shoulder, my work as a congressman and my family.”

Actually I would be interested in a reaaasssssly long demonstration on how judges view each hit/round in that particular fight.

He won the two most convincing rounds but not the fight.

Well I guess he scored the rounds mayweather won as 10-9 and the ones he won as 10-7 or something

Between this and the shoulder, he's actually been--for this fight--more unprofessional than Mayweather. Then again, he is a politician so it's very likely that dishonesty is the norm for him nowadays.

Edit: Not only is he a politician but he first ran as a liberal candidate and lost, then ran under a conservative party and won. So he's not only a politician, but he doesn't even have consistent principles.

Neither of them deserved to win and both pulled the wool over the eyes of every idiot that paid to watch the epic shitshow.

ME TOO. I know nothing about how they score fights. If anybody has any informative videos I'd appreciate it.

I hate Mayweather more than anyone in the world, but it's really surprising that between him and Pacquiao, Pacquiao is the one being more unprofessional and is being a huge cry baby about this. Pacquiao is just ruining more and more of his reputation every time he opens his mouth and complains like a little girl. Grow up and take your loss like a man Pacquiao.

Generally when one guy hits the other at almost a 2:1 rate that guy wins the rounds and the fight.

Floyd threw more punches.
Floyd landed more punches.
Floyd landed at a much higher connect %.
Floyd landed many more clean punches (the straight right landed ALL night).
Floyd controlled the tempo.

What did Pacquiao do? Land two big shots in the fight? The man knew he needed to attack Mayweather like no one else has....and he didn't. He let Floyd out-punch him. When Floyd is more active than you in the ring, you lose badly. shite, his opponents lose badly enough when Floyd is throwing half the punches as they are, much less when he's actually throwing MORE.

A generous person should not have that fight any closer than 8-4....and that's being VERY generous. I had it 9-3. If you have it closer than 8-4 Floyd then you really need to explain your scoring system.

People claim "Floyd ran". How can he be "running" if he's the man throwing more punches? People need to start looking at Pacquiao and ask him what the f-ck he was doing in there other than watching Floyd's straight right hammer him all night long. And GTFO with that shoulder excuse. That's a bunch of bullshite. It sure didn't stop him from throwing punches with that arm.

I question anyone's sanity that believes Pac won the fight; it was literally never in jeopardy after R6.

I know almost nothing about boxing. But when Mayweather got a bit froggy and even straight went AFTER his arse, I could tell something was off. I was thinkin' wait a tick, Pac, you're doijg the complete opposite of what I think you're suposed to be doing right now! You're gonna lose my man!

And lose he did
