Why is the show going with the Greyworm love storyline? Does that add anything?

Unless they're far more important than they've seemed in the books, I'm glad the Iron born are being left out. I hated their chapters.

The Iron Born may be like The Kid in The Stand. An interesting but not essential part of the storyline.
Heck, I think The Kid did not even make it into the shorter version of the book. Who knows, they may one day do a book(s) version of SOI&F that tracks the show.

Off topic again, but I've got about 80 pages left of Dance with Dragons. My buddy keeps telling me shite's about to get real and I'm guessing he was referring to the Dornish jackass letting the dragons out. Gonna try and finish the book on my lunch break. John's about to leave on a wildling search and rescue mission, Cersei just got picked up by her new gargantuan King's Guard and Arya's still being boring. Oh yeah, and Theon just got back with Jeyne. This book better not end with some cliffhanger bullshite but I've gotta feeling it will.

I'm in a group text of about 7 people, all hodors, and I can't figure out how they all think Cersei giving power to High Sparrow is genius.

Watched it again last night. Barriston does go out like a boss, and yes, that's definitely Drogon in the trailer for next week. I forgot to look for a stone man.

you can see them on the pillar in the background of Tyrion's scene.
Hell, in the little Inside the Episode clip posted in another thread, you see one of them stand up while Tyrion is looking up at Drogon.

Supposedly Millesandra will revive him and since he "died" his watch has ended so he can frick shite up now worry free.

Oh well that would be pretty bad arse. Yeah she told him to come to her after he looked to the sky and found out who his true enemies were. Cool, thanks
And I remember thinking how similar his last chapter was to Cat's Red Wedding chapter so that makes a lot of sense.

He warged into ghost is my best speculation based on the significance of first story in the book.
I'd also speculate Melisandre is going to ressurect him.
This would get him out of his vows with the Nights Watch.

I loved AFFC and ADWD on reread. Make sure to reread them according to the boiled leather chronological list. There is a ton of small history and detail that is easy to miss the first time around.

Of course, we're all speculating and GRRM may decide that since we all guessed Jon's parents correctly he is gonna frick us over and have Jon stay dead. The White Walkers roll through the wall, kill everyone, and book over. No need for another book.

So you're saying the show would be better than the books?

Keep in mind that this is all speculation and we have no idea.
It just makes too much sense that he is reborn, is released from his Nightswatch oaths, and is Azor Ahai.
But we don't know. Also keep in mind, that in general, when people die in this series, we fricking know they are dead. It is shown. This reads more like a lot of other character's "deaths", like Davos.
