A bit off topic but Baelon Greyjoy is still alive on the show. What's up with that?

I don't know but it pisses me off. The only thing I can think of is they are going to set up either Jaqen or Arya as his killer so they are waiting for the Bravos line to play out...but that is pretty stupid. He should have been dead 2 seasons ago.

No shite. By now we should have seen a moot, a big-arse horn and a horned up Iron Born pirating across the narrow sea to try and bang Dany. bullshite.

Cersei did some monumentally stupid shite in the books, but the show is making her look like some kind of evil genius. I thought that would happen, and I don't expect the depiction of the Sand Snakes to be any different.

I don't see that at all. All they seem to be saying is that Cersei is an arrogant stupid bitch, just like in the books. Kevan storming out the same alone makes me not worry about where she's going. Seems that her and Arya's arc are the only ones they're making mostly the same.

I really think the main function of the sand snakes is to frame Doran's storyline - what he is planning and the obsticles he faces in the form of impatience from both relatives and the public.

I'm really not liking the Sand Snakes in this adaptation. Say what you will about the Red Viper being a vengeful borderline psychopath, but the one thing I'm confident he'd never do is murder an innocent girl simply because of what her family did to him. If Elara really did know and love Oberyn, she'd never approve of this.

Did they outright say they were going to murder the princess? They seemed a little vague as to what they were going to do with her. They may be planning on "crown"ing her after all.

Well, Elara said that directly to Doran about sending Myrcella's head back to Cersei, so I don't see why she'd change her mind.

Maybe she thought it would be more fun to trick the Lannisters into beheading their own daughter

I don't think these things are top importance to the endgame. For TV purposes, have Arya grow up come back to Westeros and kill they Greyjoys off and be done with that storyline. Vengence is hers.

I don't think Theon's dick was top importance to the end game, but we still got subjected to its removal and travels. I just wanna see some vikings tote around a big magical horn.

or maybe Theon's turn is dreadfully important to the endgame and D&D showed him go through the lowest of lows in excruciating detail?

I am still the only person I know that thinks Victarion is awesome. I wish we could see him as well. The only spoiler I would actually enjoy would be him killing Daahrio. Hate that guy even if he is barely in the show.

They aren't on her list. I think Balon is just going to serve the purpose of all the Greyjoys. There are too many of them for the show to include them all.

Trant is totally fricked, though. That's going to be awesome.

Dany already has her 88 ships though.

I get that but it was only hinted at in the book. Was it really necessary to have three long scenes featuring his dick? I know you can't express his inner thoughts easily in the show but did it really have to get replaced with that?

Just nitpicking cause I wanted to see more from the whole Greyjoy fight for power, and that badass horn.

Did they really have to make Littlefinger the pimp daddy of Westeros, or have weekly buttsex scenes, or have Joffrey arrow-rape a character that didn't exist in the books?

Welcome to HBO.
