Tom Brady disagrees against the same team

So Tom Brady broke up Ricardo Lockette's route and intercepted the ball?

You're going to ignore the go ahead TD that he drove the team down like 30 seconds before that?

No, but you go out of your way to tell everyone how terrible you think Mett is

So me giving a different opinion from the rest of you is absurd? I also never called him "terrible". He could easily be a QB2.

Go somewhere else with your bullshite.

Meh I don't think Brady really did anything that special

320 yards and 4 TDs, yeah ok

Carrol gifted them the game at the end.

what does that have to do with the Patriots scoring 28 points on the Seahawks?

no, but the immobile Tom Brady was responsible for scoring all 28 of the Patriots points

This isn't the only Mett thread I'm talking about

You're a moth to a flame when it comes to Mett threads

I don't think Mett is that great either, but he is better than Mariota.

It's a healthy debate. I bring a different point of view to this discussion. Not just the same old "Mett hasn't been given a chance in Nashville" rhetoric.

I know y'all don't want to hear it, but unfortunately, Mett is injury prone.

because he took a pounding all last year because of how horrible the Titans OL was? It was bound to happen eventually, to anyone, which is evidenced by the fact every single one of the Titans' QBs missed time last year to injury. He may end up injury prone, but as of now, it's far too premature to make a statement like that. knee injuries like his are very common. The fact that he came back as soon as he did is kind of a testament to the opposite.

I'm not sold on Mariota being a great prospect and truth be told, I bet the Titan's aren't either. I think Tenn. would love to trade down if the right package came along.

As far as Mettenberger's potential as a franchise QB is concerned, I still go back to the fact that he was a 6th round draft pick. Other than Brady, there aren't many franchise QBs that were picked that low. In a league where the QB position means everything, you have to question why he lasted that long on the board? If he was truly thought of as someone who had franchise QB ability, then you would have expected him to be taken well before the likes of Tom Savage, Logan Thomas, Jimmy Garopolo, and AJ McCarron

pocket passers who scramble some

Brees
Manning
Brady
Luck
Rivers
Rodgers
Palmer (was lighting it up before injury)
Big Ben
Romo
Ryan
Manning

Not pure drop back passers

Wilson
Newton
Kaepernick

The rest of the quarterbacks in between

All others.

I still think we are mixing up scrambler & mobility in this discussion. RG3 & Vick are the perfect example of scrambles.

Mobile QBs within the pocket
Brees
Luck
Rodgers
Wilson
Romo
Big Ben
Newton
Rivers

quote:

Kaepernick

It will be interesting to see how that offense is run with Harbaugh gone.

I don't see anyone here saying Mett's a franchise QB. But his background translates well into the NFL. He will be more than serviceable if they put some pieces around him and keep him upright.

And I sure as hell know Mariota isn't a franchise QB. He shouldn't go in the first round let alone top 10.

The Eagles would receive the No. 2 overall pick from the Titans, which they would then use to draft Mariota.
The Chargers would receive Sam Bradford, the Eagles’ first-round pick and the Titans’ second-round pick.
The Titans would receive Philip Rivers and the Eagles’ third-round pick.

The Titans would have to be full retard to trade away the 2nd overall pick and the 35th pick for a 3rd round pick and an old QB. This is Saints stuff we're talking about here.
