Can we please clear this up.
Lunch - noon
Dinner/supper - 6-8pm
Right? Dinner is NOT at lunch

Lunch is only between two or more people with non-matching genitalia.
Dinner is after 6:30 but before 9:30 Mountain Time
And Supper is typically reserved for Prussian royalty or orthodox holidays.

I think Supper is technically the night meal while Dinner is the biggest meal of the day that can take place at lunch or supper time...

No. It's a Cajunism based on tradition. Dinner is your biggest meal of the day, from the French "diner" or "to dine." It can occur at any time of day, but they usually ate a big meal around noon. Then, at night time when they were hungry again, they would have "supper" which is a SUPlementary small meal.
So in SWLA, a lot of people still eat "dinner" around what most people would call "lunch time."

Some days I bring my lunch to work, but if I don't I go eat dinner around noon. Before I get home sometimes I wonder what's for supper.

Lunch is the midday meal. Supper is the last meal of the day. Dinner can be either.

Look at nice restaurants, their "lunch" menu is served between 11am and 2pm. Their "dinner" menu is served from 5pm until close.
