Do you list your HS education on your resume if you have a college degree?

I do not as I don't have room, and I think its pointless.
Apparently, some in the Letterman thread disagree.
What say the OT, yay or nay on listing HS on resume?

It's on there. One line.

you went to one that you'd be ashamed to list...

I'd only do it if I went to a well known high school that was local to the job I was applying for.
But since I went to HS in bumfrick, GA, I do not.

If you are in NOLA and went to a NO Private, then yes.

Not on mine. With having an undergrad and MBA it is pretty much assumed I graduated from high school.
Maybe if I worked in NOLA and went to Jesuit or one of the more prestigious schools, but even then I doubt I would.

I did well in HS, so yes.
It can't hurt. If you're local, the people at the company might have some connection to the school.

It is one line in the education section. It is probably the most important in my hometown though.

If you lettered then you should always mention it in resumes or online dating profiles. That's just common sense.

Maybe for your first job to fill some space. After that they will care more about your experience.

I did when I was in Louisiana because where I went is a fairly respected place and people knew the school and usually people that went there.
Now that I'm 1,300 miles away I definitely don't have it on there.

All I put on my resume is "lettered in HS football"
That way, every employer knows how much I have earned and accomplished. Nothing else needed.

frick no. On an application of course, since there's a section that asks for HS info. But just on my resume? What a waste of space, I doubt many employers care, especially if you're several years removed from HS.

Not on there. For education I have my college degree and school name. Have a boat load of certifications and shite like that so I put them on there depending on how relevant they are to the interview at hand.

I have mine listed It only takes up one line, and you never know when it may be that extra piece of info that gets you an interview or job. To my knowledge it has never hurt me, but who can know for sure

No
Its hard enough fitting college degree on a 1 page resume with past employment experiences much less a high school degree
