re: Possibly best nanny job in the world is offering $129,000, full use of the family Maserati - MamouTiger65
Travelled with an Australian girl that ended up staying in London and being a nanny for some kids in the Ritz Carlton family. They had more nannies than kids, and spent most of the summer in Monoco and sailing the Mediterranean. Sweet job if you can get it. ...

re: New coffee pot brewing half cup less than the water I poured in - MamouTiger65
My pot has two marks next to each cup. One shows where to fill it up to and the other shows where it will be after it brews. It's basically a half cup difference. You are losing some to evaporation and some that gets absorbed into the coffee that doesn't come out. ...

re: Best pool service company in EBRP? - MamouTiger65
I used the pinch a penny on Sherwood for a while. Initially I needed someone to fix my pool. They were able to do it faster and cheaper than the company I was previously using. Then I hired them to maintain it. Labor and chemical prices were good, and they did a good job keeping the pool clean. Not ...

re: Louisiana Speed Traps - MamouTiger65
Cities now have to peg you at 11 mph over to keep the revenue. So that helps
I think this is only true for cities that were running speed traps on the interstate. State Troopers said anything under 10mph over the limit goes to the state. Most of these small towns aren't on the inte...

re: Has anyone ever joined Toastmasters? - MamouTiger65
Sounds like Toastmasters would be good for you. I've done it before. The groups vary greatly, so go visit some in your area and find one you like. Some are a lot more laid back and supportive. Others are very strict and more critical. Either way, you get good feedback and can practice giving present...

re: When do you find time to read? - MamouTiger65
I try to knock out some each morning before the rest of the family wakes up. Then once the kids are in bed I'll read 20-30 minutes. If you are consistent about it, you can churn through books pretty quickly....

re: How many books are you currently reading? - MamouTiger65
I'm normally reading two at a time. One for fun that I'll read quickly. The other is usually something educational and takes some time to absorb so I read it much slower. Occasionally I'll throw in a third more philosophical book that only requires a short read each day....

re: Is LinkedIn premium worth the cost? - MamouTiger65
They offer free trials to check it out. If you are actively looking for a new position, it might be useful. It allows you to reach to people and companies beyond what you get with the basic. If you are just keeping up your online presence then its not worth it....

re: Better Call Saul Season 3 Episode 6: Off Brand - MamouTiger65
quote:Howard made mention it was 35 yr old scotch. The label said 1966, meaning it's currently 2001. I'm guessing 7 years pass from this point until BB events. During the last episode there was a sign outside the court room for Jimmy's hearing that a sequence of numbers including "-2003". ...

re: Italy in Wintertime/Christmas - MamouTiger65
I did Italy in January a while back and it was great. Much shorter lines at all of the tourist attractions. It was chilly, but a light jacket was really all I needed especially if you are going to be walking most of the cities. Venice has a small fraction of the number of tourist as it did when I we...

re: Do I Have the Right to Do a Credit Card Chargeback? - MamouTiger65
Do the charge back and refuse the order. Your card company will do the charge back. Then the company gets a period of time to appeal the chargeback. It can take a month or so before it is all settled and will depend on what the company's return/refund/shipping policies are on their website. I use...
