Let's exclude pharma/med device

I asked this on the OT lounge and it was immediately brought up. I'm fairly familiar with both.

Depends how good you are. If you can really sell, and few can, insurance sales can bank you some serious cash, especially supplemental.

What industry are you currently in and why are you looking to leave it?

Enterprise rent-a-car. They have a great corporate structure and they give you the tools to be your own boss.

Senior housing sales with the option of moving into upper management based upon your performance.

All of us will age and will develop needs that must be met.

Enterprise technology. My firm sells trading systems to hedge funds and the sales guys do very well. In my experience, the entire FinTech industry is in a massive boom right now and almost everyone is hiring.

I know plenty of guys in the construction materials/ equipment industry making well over 100k. I also know plenty guys in the same industry struggling to make 85k. When the west coast was booming pre 2007 we had guys making 300 and 400k working for a company I used to work for.

It doesn't matter what you sell if you are the best. I'm working on a project at a distributor where the top guys are making over 500k selling cardboard boxes, labels andJan/San/office supplies.
