BR doesn't have a big enough group that listens to house/electro/etc to keep a club afloat

And the group that is into that scene here doesn't have big city (bottle service) money.

ETA: and it's not even large enough as it is.

yeah. Huge difference. One is a "CLUB" and one is a concert venue.

i take that as a compliment

You take the fact that you went out of your way to hate on a subculture that you dont understand to an absurd level as a compliment?

It's gonna be more like the House of Blues than an actual "Club"

Then whoever heads up their Branding/Marketing needs to be fired.

These do not even hint at "House of Blues" style.

I'm expecting acts like Hinder and Three Days Grace. Total bro/frat fest.

I remember the dance floor area being pretty small and the whole setup was almost L shaped.

thats another good point. the people that go to the weekly/monthly edm events over the last 15 years in BR arent balling by any means. hell, you would be lucky to get them to buy a few drinks that arent high life or pbr.

I remember when Smokie Bourgeois was battling the food trucks. (I am paraphrasing when I say this)Delgado piped in with "if you're on the metro council you shouldn't be in private business" proceeds to open now 4 bars since in office. Has pissed off plenty of people including well established restaurants in the downtown area to outright asking other tap rooms to look at their inventory(with btw, a woman that was not his wife).

Dude is an a-hole and really hope he doesn't run for mayor, he might get elected.
