Metro Councilman, downtown bar owner and attorney John Delgado and business partners Andrew Bayard and Christian Walther have announced plans for their latest entertainment venue: a Las-Vegas-style nightclub to be housed in the old Louisiana Theater Building at 336 N. Third St.

Delgado says the club will be a high-end operation with bottle service and the ability to accommodate a variety of touring musical acts, including bands and deejays. The club will have a capacity of between 650 and 700 patrons and will include seating on two floors.

In other news, Councilman Delgado announces new city ordinance offering tax breaks and financial incentives to open clubs in downtown Baton Rouge.

This will technically be Baton Rouge's 2nd club.

The Texas Club already exist with bottle service as well.

Will be interesting to see if/how this place sustains.

I don't see that type of club working here at all.
