Ellie was hot. She was supposed to be his long term love interest on the show, but I don't think the actress that played her and Andy got along and she left after the first season. I agree that Helen sucked.

Helen was by far the worst character on the show.
Ellie was straight fire and had a quick wit. Her disappearance was never explained though. I think Andy killed her via multiple O's with his huge D, and sunk her body in the lake.

Andy probably knocked Ellie up and she was sent away for 9 months like unmarried preggo girls were back then. Being a Pharmacist she got involved in the drug scene and was the Walter White of Mount Pilot. Recruited the two fun girls as dealers, and tried to use them to ruin Andy in a jealous lovers rage.
