I'm glad to see this show is still kicking. The detail they put into their sets, costumes, mannerisms, ect is impressive and remarkable. It's too bad the show itself is so damn boring, otherwise I'd watch it way more often

That dog is pretty damn old by now assuming it was a couple years old when the series began.

This is the second dog. There was a different one in the first season, but that still makes this one about 8-10 years old, I think.

I read something about the dog's name, Isis, being unfortunate and the reason behind the dog's apparent impending departure. It was speculation, though.

What about Rosamund as Edith's bio mother? Does anyone remember her reaction to Edith in my previous post? I vaguely recall that interaction, but I don't recall noticing any particular reaction from Rosamund that would make me think she could be Edith's bio mom.

Isis is the best part of the show to me.

And, I don't think Rosamund is Edith's bio mom.
That's just me. But I wouldn't put it past the writers in order to inject some life in the show.

That's the main reason why they have such a short season. It has to be so incredibly tedious to produce these episodes. It's like getting in a time machine when you watch the show. And yes... the detail...

how many times have Mary or Hughes traveled ? why wouldn't they have noticed that the ticket had not been torn?

so, by "helping" bates they actually hurt is case?
I think Mary and Mrs. HUghes just wanted to destroy every trace of Bates' trip. It never occurred to me that the un-torn ticket would be his get-out-of-jail card.

Never occurred to me, either, but I didn't know they were torn when used or I missed that part when they got rid of the tickets. I didn't catch the significance. I so hope this storyline fades away into the sunset.

I think it's technically been a few years since Greene died, so the police haven't exactly been on this constantly. What triggered it to come up again? I've already forgotten.

recently , i think thomas sent a letter to the police.

but before that... no idea. anna's presence at the murder site seemed to arouse some suspicion.

I probably missed that or just don't recall. There have been some episodes in which my mind drifted while watching due to boredom and when I do that, I can tune out everything. I should go back and rewatch a few episodes, but I don't know if I can do it.

I was fully expecting Isis to start having puppies in that episode after Robert said there is no way she is pregnant.

ETA: Would have just further affirmed that Robert has no clue what is really going on at DA

I've always been that way. My Dad is the same way. Once he gets into reading something, there could almost be an explosion and he might not hear it.

I have an issue with too much silence, though. If I work late at the office and the AC goes off, I will notice that immediately and have to turn on a fan in my office to create some noise.

Had to sort of watch that when little kids were running around if I was watching TV. I could tune them out. And, I'm a girl just in case you didn't know.

Actually, I think it originated from growing up in a large family. On the rare occasions when everyone was gone, it drove me crazy. Had a big adjustment when I finally got my first apt by myself. I got over it, though!

So I finally caught up on DA. (Sad thing is that I have been reading this thread anyway bc I have just succumbed to the fact that NOTHING is going to happen)

It did get to me when Edith took her baby back though. Ugh. Right in the feels. That poor woman!

Hopefully things will start picking up though because I don’t know how much more I can take. It is SO boring.
