I will follow up once a decision is made and let folks know how the weekend was.
I don't know if I can hang with Arse though.

OK. Here is my follow up:
Saturday
Lunch at Corner Oyster House in Jackson Square. The grilled alligator was awesome and crawfish / shrimp po boy was what was to be expected. Nothing great but it satisfied.
Dinner at Mr. B's was excellent. For appetizers we had the Duck Spring Rolls and a Crab Cake. Wife had BBQ Shrimp and I went with the rabbit. Everything at Mr B's was phenomenal.
Sunday
Lunch at Royal House Oyster Bar. Char grilled Oysters and French Onion soup were both great.
Dinner was at Grand Isle. Nice looking restaurant but the food was so so. Grand Isle Oysters for an app. Wife had shrimp and grits and I had the beef and cheddar melt po boy. Apparently they just got a new chef and he/she needs some more practice in the kitchen.
Monday
I convinced the wife to make a quick stop at Lafitte's so I could have some cocktails. She made me feed her first so we had lunch at Le Bayou. We had fried alligator and split the roast beef (debris) po boy. Both met expectations. Made our way to Lafitte's and had the Sazerac and an Old Fashion. Good drinks and just a cool bar to hang out at. The bartenders were very friendly.
Dinner was at Commander's. We took the street car there and the ride was pleasant. The food and service at Commander's was top notch. I had a few Old Fashions. For appetizer we had the Pig and the Fig. I had turtle soup and the wife had the salad. For main courses I had the lamb shank and wife had the quail. Everything there was great.
Tuesday before our flight home we ate at Drago's since it was in the hotel we stayed at. It was ok and would only return for convenience.
All in all it was a great weekend and I appreciate the input and suggestions from all.

Le Bayou
On Bourbon? Blegh.
At least you made up for it with Commander's for dinner
I don't really know anything about the places you went for Saturday and Sunday lunches. Glad you enjoyed them though.
THANK YOU for updating. Wish everyone who asked for suggestions would do that.

Le Bayou was chosen by convenience (Around Me App - We were at the ATM on Bienville between Royal and Bourbon).
When the preggo wife says feed me, I have learned to find the nearest place she deems acceptable. Hell I was just happy she agreed to go to Lafitte's with me on our anniversary.
We actually enjoyed our food there.
I highly suggest trying the Royal House Oyster Bar. It was one of our favorite meals we had.
