re: A textbook example of transition defense, the James Harden edition

Meh, dude played 40 minutes and almost single handedly won the game in the final 7 minutes with 60% of his starting lineup out. He's been the best 2 guard in the league all year on both ends of the floor, and an MVP candidate behind AD.

I'm ok with him not exerting 100% effort every single second of the game. That just makes him...normal. Bryant doesn't do it, James doesn't do it, nobody does in an 82 game season.

He's been everything Rockets fan could hope this year, even accounting for that "lazy" play. You want to pick apart one play? That's fine. I just look at the scoreboard, the standings, and our injury report, and I choose not to give a frick.

11-3 & 25/6/6/2 is all I care about.

ETA: Wow! 3rd in points, 11th in steals, 11th in assists, and 2nd among 2 guards for rebounds. He's been even better than I thought.
