yes, I might recall that name from somewhere?
what kind of TV do WE watch?
"" "" of any hi-tech gadgets do WE have.
what kind of cell phone do WE use?
ETC.

my granpappy used to tell me to work hard, save my money and buy what I wanted to serve my needs and what I thought was the best I could afford.
I always tried to do that.

My 2500HD was assembled in America in 2004. Don't know if they are still doing that though. I would guess they were now hechode in Mexico

Aren't all domestic manufacturer's plants unionized, and foreign are not. Didn't the domestic guys move all of their shite out of the country, and the foreign people moved their shite into the country?

So you're saying parts from AC Delco and Siemens are high quality and parts from Aisin, etc are low quality? IMHO, Japanese quality parts are much better than "American" parts. I'd suggest you try and find out where those parts are actually made.

Saw a Hilux on the interstate the other day. Nice looking truck. It was a company vehicle, but I don't remember which company.

And Tacoma's were introduced I believe in 95 by Nummi - a joint venture between Toyota and General motors.

So no one here knows that "Power Wagon" isn't just a trim level Chrysler made up?

They've been around since WW2.

Had a nice restored one on Bring a Trailer the other day...original inline 6, would be a good zombie apocalypse vehicle.

H1 pickup...instead of your sports car? Yeah, you crazy.

Love my Tundra--do not trust my dealer Supreme in Hammond. I will not buy another if I have drive to Covington or Baton Rouge for service and recalls. I actually took my truck 30 miles to another dealer for the minor recall repairs because I was afraid to let the truck into Supreme's service shop.

Tundra is darn near a 3/4 ton as far as brakes and towing goes. Very good ride---better ride than the fords we own.(I love fords too--would not own a chevy).

I have about 150,000 miles on my 08 and have never spent a dime on repairs. I did the maintenance as scheduled. I didn't even have to buy a battery till this year--6 year battery.
