There are different ways to measure this. As a pure receiver, I take Thomas right now. He is still learning the nuances of the game, having played one year of college football, then hurt his first 2 years in the NFL, and only just now in his second season as a starter. He has played amazing this season. He is next to impossible to cover one-on-one. He routinely beats corners, safeties, and linebackers. He is on pace for about 30 touchdowns this season.

But he is possibly the worst blocker in the NFL. I don't know how Graham and Gronk match up there. I also think Graham and Gronk are both better at out jumping the defense for the ball.

Graham and Gronk are far and away the best receivers on their respective teams. Julius Thomas is not. He probably doesn't get anywhere near the double teams the other two get.

Gronk plays in like 1 of every 3 games, Thomas is a fricking thug scumbag and JG is a good dude that is a hell of a player so the answer is obvious.

It's very difficult to compare because Thomas has by far the best number 1 wr taking pressure off of him. Would be a lot easier to compare if Broncos didn't have demayrius

The three players you listed are receivers (other than maybe Grink).

Witten is an example of a tight end.

A healthy Gronk is better than all of them due to the fact that he's 1 of the best blocking TEs in the game as well as an elite receiving threat. And you gotta look at age.... Graham is 27, older than people realize. Thomas is 26. Gronk is still just 25.

Gronk is the best TE in the game and has a chance at being the GOAT. Just depends on his health.

Thomas is on pace for 29 TDs this year, has 9 TDs in 6 games. He might be the best pure receiver out of the 3.

And yea Thomas plays with a stud WR... But he also sees less looks than the other 2 because of that. Thomas has seen 30 targets this year(catching 24 and 9 for TDs... Pretty amazing ), while Gronk and Graham have both seen 46 targets.

If Gronk stays healthy, he's clearly the best. Then I give the nod to Julius Thomas over Graham. And Graham is out for a few weeks as well. But the biggest thing is that Graham is just soft. Still awesome. But soft.

As a tight end you have to be able to block, therefore Graham is last.

If it was purely receiving he'd be #1
