agree. And, hello, Darren McFadden. None of those losses compare to what happened this weekend. I agree with you.

I will say it again: we were stuffed on 4th down at the goalline in the fricking student section of our own stadium. Inexcusable.

2007 was bad because what it almost cost us. No-one is suspecting us to do anything significant this year.

the 2007 loss to arkansas almost cost us a national championship. That why that is such a horrible loss. If we didn't get lucky and get to the national championship anyway, that loss would be the worst in Miles Era and maybe in LSU history. Well at-least till 21-0.

I remember that game. We blew a 4th quarter lead. THIS WEEKEND WE WERE DOMINATED AT THE frickING COIN TOSS. This game was worse.

Being dominated by the 5th best team in the west AT HOME may have something to do with it.

You realize the SEC West by itself makes up the better halves of every other conference?

MSU is better than you think.

as far as most dominated game yes this one (outside of 21-0) is the worst. But I'm looking at multiple factors.

1) who we played. 2008 ark was 4-7 coming into the game, their season was done after our game.
2) impact on season. 2007 ark almost cost us a national championship, if it did it would be the worst.
3) dominace of other team. MSU did that to us this year.

But there are worse games than Saturday night. 2007 ark is the worst in my book (outside of 21-0) because of what it almost did.

This was the worst loss of miles career at LSU.

stop being such a drama queen. It wasn't pretty, but State may just be a much better team than anyone wanted to admit last week. I can think of plenty of losses that were worse. How bout getting blasted at home in 2008 by Ole Miss by 20 points and them taking a knee inside the 10 yard line. How bout Ole Miss last year or in 2009? Alabama BCS title game?

I should have been more clear. I think this is the most embarrassing loss of miles career at LSU. Taking in all factors there were definitely worse losses, but none have ever been so embarrassing IMO.

They weren't ranked. They had trouble against inferior opponents. By the way, if you didn't notice, LSU didn't even show up to the game this weekend. I don't care how much better you think they are, the fact is we were never in that game. They dominated us from the beginning.

LSU beat Florida last year, and State maybe better than advertised. It seems the majority of everyone else in the nation thought we would struggle some this year. A few of us saw the warning signs, but I don't think even that group anticipated that arse whipping to State(yes we made it close in the end on reserves initially then the prevent defense).

Many Tiger fans got caught up in the recruiting class and one the best OLs in the nation. BUGA, speed, NFLU just reloads, etc and moaned about how the media is disrespecting us and so on. Wisconsin was a warning shot and MSU hit us between the eyes.

If, and it is a big if, somehow the OL awakens as a group, and the DL and MLB improves some, we still have a chance to win 9. We have to beat KY and FL, and although somehow win three of five against AL,AU, UM, TAM, and the pigs. All of which look good now, but some have chinks in the armor. UM and TAM are passing teams which is to our advantage. AU and AL are good teams but at this point may not be as good as they were last year and the pigs are better but still lack a defense. Hopefully this will be a wake up call for LSU like LSU was for AU last year. One similarity is that both teams didn't quit when getting down by 24 and 21 points.

Sorry guys probably my longest post.

again, stop being so dramatic. it has nothing to do with having a different opinion. it's jumping off the rails and calling this the worst loss ever because it happened most recently. either you are really young or far too emotional.

It's exactly because I have a different opinion than you. Thinking this loss was the most embarrassing has nothing to do with it being the most recent. It has everything to do with the fact that had state not taken their foot off the gas at the end of the 3rd quarter they would have beaten LSU by 30+ points at home.

Most fans are discouraged with the dismal line performance on both sides of the ball from a player standpoint.

And they lost a 3000 yard passer a 1000 yard rusher and 2 1000 yard receivers. Did anybody expect the loss total of 3 to decrease??

You have to ask yourself why that team lost 3 times?????

I think people expected to have a good defense and dominant oline. Our supposed strengths are our weaknesses
