And they lost a 3000 yard passer a 1000 yard rusher and 2 1000 yard receivers. Did anybody expect the loss total of 3 to decrease?? I thought it was assumed this year would be a step back so why the all the bitching and moaning already??

we as LSU fans are delusional and we are the only fan base in the SEC to not recognize this.

Being dominated by the 5th best team in the west AT HOME may have something to do with it.

This was the worst loss of miles career at LSU.

I think the consensus/most-common position was status quo (9-3).

The problem is that when you lose to MSU, you've got to beat an extra team out of Auburn, Alabama, A&M, Ole Miss to get there.

They might not be the 5th best when it is all said and done. They're better than most would like to admit.

The Florida loss last year was a bad one as well.

The media had it right 4th in the west, but the fans kept saying they aren't giving us any respect

the consensus was that the great o line would protect the QB and the offense would lean on the running backs to help carry the load.

the defense would be improved and so would welter (lol)

most people predicted 9-3 regular season

I get that. But it doesn't change the fact that they lost 3 times without a logical explanation to think that number would go anywhere but up. So a loss against a team like this shouldn't be a huge surprise

I know lots of people will disagree, but you're probably right.

They aren't better than bama, AU, or aTm. Kentucky will give them problems and OM/arky are both toss ups.

ehhh, arguably. I would say Ole Miss last year was worse just because they were a 3-5 SEC team

Why do people keep saying this. Wouldn't we hope that they are better, so that the loss doesn't make us look like bottom dwelling divisional bitchboys?

How could anyone predict the exact same record as last year, with a a team that as a whole was not going to be as good
