Stop taking everything so literal. LSU did nothing vs ULM in the first half and wore them out in the second half. I know LSU will open up the offense against MSU similar to what we did in the second half vs wisconsin but MSU wont wear as easily as ULM. Our OLine is a legit concern right now and pointing that out doesnt make me negative.

dpends on the offense we run. If we run it up the middle out of the jumbo package, then yes, they will shut our offense down.

It is a definite possiblity that a talented and motivated MSU does stuff the underachieving/overrated (pick one) LSU OL and kill the run. That will make a train wreck of CLM's usual "run, run, run fun" game plan. Which means Jennings and/or Harris will need to air it out and find more than one receiver who can and does catch the ball. Maybe even a TE or two? Our D will do it's thing but MSU is no Sam Houston or ULM and it is highly unlikely we get a 3rd consecutive shut-out.

The question rests on whether or not LSU can score enough against a pretty good MSU defense to win.

Coaches obviously study the shite out of the opposing teams film in order to identify weaknesses, exploit them and steer clear of a teams strengths. I'm sure Cameron has been reviewing State's film for two weeks and recognizes we cannot line up and run double tight ends in the I and running the ball.

LOL at people getting in an uproar and attacking somebody just because they pick against the Tigers. Mike's okay. Easier to listen to than Deke most of the time. Besides, MSU is not exactly a cupcake, although I think LSU wins.

Who really knows. MSU has given up miles of yardage to "second tier" teams, but LSU has a way of playing down, committing self-inflicted wounds and often looking very confused. These are things that coaches should identify and neutralize. The game this week is the first of many referenda on the STAFF. I have a feeling that this game is a bellwether for the season.

I think the Offense must come out and impose itself on the MSU defense. It is a good bet that the game plan will have lots of B gap running plays that require the O-line to get a push to create some space. The Rbs need to hit things quickly. It may require, dare I say it, using the pass to set up the run. If MSU has a weak pass defense, maybe that is the way to go.

Everyone has a perspective and funnel a thought process based on that perception. At this stage of the season everything is a hunch or guess based on that perception. He is sticking by his preseason hunch for the sake of not waffling.

I don't think LSU's weaknesses discussed at the beginning of the season are looking very weak at all.

Well, he is entitled to his opinion...and it is not beyond the universal trappings that he is wrong, but the stars will have to be lined up just right for the short legged dogs to pull this one off.

Mike Detillier picking MSU

This is not a stretch. Having watched every game this year 3 times or more, we have weaknesses a good team can exploit. I hope Detillier is wrong but his prediction it's not far fetched.

State will keep it close til midway through the third quarter, then I see LSU taking over the game and winning by 14 to 21 points. When MSU proves they can whip LSU in Tiger Stadium, then I will believe it, til then it is like Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy.

For all you people saying this is going to be close, how about making a little check list on a piece of paper grading every position on both sides of the ball. When you are finished add the checks up and see who has more. People its simple math, State is only better in about 20% of positions! Then factor in +100,000 rowdy Tiger fans it going to be a blood bath!
