Nice set up and your property looks somewhat clear of trees so debris in pool looks non-existant. My mother built one after my father died. It was finished around october, so we didn't have a whole lot of time to swim in it. Then my mom put a heater on it, and I believe it was around Thanksgiving, and she turned that bad boy up. Looked like old faithful one morning when the temps dropped down to the lower 40's. Then she got the gas bill, and shut down that shite.

Nice. Did you do the work yourself?

No, I have a hard time driving a nail through Sheetrock.

Look into the solar heaters. I have read they work pretty well on the pools.

Do you know what their heater costs them on top of their normal gas bill to run?
My Mom said it is about $30 higher per 24 hour period in the winter. Like I said they will only run it on the weekends we know the kids are able to swim.
Well worth it for us. We even had my daughters birthday party there in early march one year.

I'll look further into this. How do these compare from a price standpoint vs. traditional pool heaters?

Thank you. The company that we had design our plans did a great job and were very patient with us throughout all of the changes before the plans became final.

What are those poles in the shallow end?
Posted on 9/15/14 at 11:32 am to AlxTgr
Bubblers. To help keep the water circulating in the shallow end.

I dunno I can't remember that, but at $30 per day extra for NG heater you can afford a higher solar cost in the long run.

Thank you. You should see the word document that I have created with the list of questions | suggestions I have to ensure we don't "miss" anything.
