Got to the spot and water was running hard. Made the paddle anyway. Saw lots of birds across the way, so we moved. I did not fire a shot buddy missed a couple. Guys across the river killed 2 limits by 7:30. Gonna try something different tomorrow. Also saw lots on canadas but they were not working at all.

I watched twenty boats come in and only saw one other group with more than 4 birds. Trust me it was pitiful. We saw maybe thirty and killed our twelve.

A buddy and I knocked 10, lost 3. Considering I saw zero while scouting yesterday, we were pleasantly surprised. Did some missing, should have had our 12. Try em again in the AM.

We all 3 shot over a box of shells to get our 18 birds. We kept a bunch of them moving, that's for sure!

South farm. It doesn't look good out there, there's barely any water and most of the ponds are full of tall grass. I found a pretty good looking spot but didn't have any luck. I saw 3 flocks way off in the distance and only 1 bird came close but it was still out of range.

Hunted Pom . Son couldn't make it. 
My daughter and SIL, none. Hunted by myself and bagged two. The only two shots I made. I did see a few birds, but they just wouldn't work.
Was very Ducky weather. Now fighting a dam cold and the flying shits.

I hear you. Did you get checked by the GW's? They were dropping tickets everywhere.
SIL got one for not wearing a PFD running his boat. 
Oh, only regret was that I didn't bring enough BL's with me on the hunt.

thanks for the update...during the early teal season do you have the lottery for Saturday and luck of the draw Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4am like during the regular season?...
