It's first come first serve out there for the entire early teal season. I would scout a little before you go because you have to have a spot and a back up spot for when you get to your spot and someone is there. As far as lead for doves, I'm not sure but I wouldn't chance it. I only saw 1 dove anyway so I don't think it would be worth the harrasment from the game wardens.

just found it...you can use lead for doves... 7 1/2, 8's and 9's...

You're going to be very sorry if you have lead when duck hunting. That is a very big no no.

That's what I thought to begin with. That's why I suggested not bringing them. I guess I won't be bringing them in the morning.

Yes if dove hunting you are good - just don't shoot any waterfowl
