Coming to NOLA for my anniversary and would like to switch it up and try a new restaurant in the Warehouse District. Would love some F&DB recs from y'all. Thanks!

Any reason you wouldn't consider uptown?
WHD- Peche, Cochon, La Boca, Herbsaint, Emerils.
I'm sure other's can suggest a few more that are considered CBD that are good.

Even though some on here don't like it Peche is really good if you're feeling seafood. If you are looking for a good steak try La Boca.
Edit: also, The Lucy Rooster on Baronne and Poydras if you want to get adventurous. The guy who started it use to be the executive chef at Delmonicos.

Most of the good ones mentioned here already but I've now had 3 good meals at Thomas Bistro. Directly across from Tommy's on Tchoup. Place rarely has many people in it but has solid food. Also check out Cibugnu of you are looking for decent Italian grub. Pretty solid.

Only ones not mentioned so far are Root, maybe you could throw in Marcello's. Not sure I would want either for my anniversary.

I grew up in Louisiana and have dined around uptown, the quarter, etc. a million times. The Warehouse District has really taken off since I last lived in LA, and I thought it would be a great way to branch out and try something new!

Personally, I'm not a huge fan of Emeril's. It just doesn't do it for me.
Herbsaint would be a good choice for an anniversary.
Peche is slightly more casual but one of the best restaurants in the city. I would probably do Peche if you're only choosing one meal.
