Noodle Size for Pastalaya

I use #3 spaghetti when I cook, but was curious about what size pasta you all use and why??-don't like the round shell type, noodles only

I like the thick spaghetti noodles too. Thats my noodle of choice for pastalya.

I like large spaghetti because the starch release is low. I dont want it to gum up and turn into pudding. If i wanted something that could be served with an ice cream scoop, id just use non-converted rice.

Linguine and fettuccine come out nice ...always get good reviews.

We used to use this stuff called rice. It was a fine recipe.

I use #3 spaghetti broken in half because it seems to stay on the fork better when eating. Any pasta will work...I all tastes the same.
