Landry

Are you seriously saying Landry and Cooks are the same caliber? I'm an LSU homer and I know that's idiotic...

I'll take Cooks over Landry OR Beckham Jr. any day. Landry is a good technical player, but I think you've just about seen his ceiling at LSU. OBJ was a great raw talent, and I think they'll use him well in NY - he has a high ceiling. But Cooks has great technical ability AND he has a higher ceiling than both of those guys.

Lets see; double digit sacks last year, high motor, and from what I'm reading he's giving Armstead all he can handle in practice. Yea I don't know how he could contribute at all. He doesn't play in coverage so he sucks.

There's been a lot of players with that one GREAT year to fall off. Is he the case, maybe, but we might not know. Hell, in 2 games he accounted for 5 sacks. That's why overall pressure is a better gauge than sack #s.

He has a high motor and is giving Armstead a lot - who only played in less than half a season, but looks good so it isn't the best judgement in the world.

He's contributing, but Bounty's argument was to Chad's argument how are we going to keep him because we had to pay for Byrd.

Ya actually I do fun bunch. Go ask the coaches/players for Miami how he's doing, and I've watched him more than any other receiver at the collegiate level. I know how great his hands are. Kinda a double standard here... You guys have already crowned cooks for ROY and call him a star.

You should find a job as a talent scout. You're obviously way more superior than us Saints Talkers.

I haven't crowned shite.

But there is a reason why Cooks was picked where he was and Landry was picked where he was.

Don't just pick one part of my point and rip it. I clearly said I would swap the two if I got my first round pick to spend on someone and my third rounder back. Wtf man read.

You're right fun bunch, the draft order always dictates how well players will do in the pros.

Landry in his career at LSU:
137 rec
1,809 yrds
15 TD's

Cooks in 2013:
128 rec
1,730 yards
16 TD's

You were saying?

They don't but players that are picked are generally picked where they are for a reason.

I think Landry will be a fine pro.

I also think Cooks will be an absolutely electric player and is perfectly suited for this Offense. Exactly what they needed.

I would take Cooks on our team with the little we gave up to get him 100% of the time. Frankly, you're pretty stupid if you think otherwise. But we've established that already, Alejandro.

4thinches really? I'm talking about a level playing field at the nfl level. Landry had to share balls with Beckham. The play calling is different in college. So many factors go into that... I just see Landry being a great pro and so far from what coaches have said Landry is doing as well as cooks respectively. And having that first rounder back cannot be overstated.

Let me ask you a serious question; do you think Landry can bring the same thing to our offense that Cooks brings?

A simple yes or no will suffice. I don't need your if's and's and but's.

Not in the sense that cooks can open the field up better and obviously cooks is faster. But I think Landry would be very good for us nonetheless and we could have picked another high potential guy in first round and third round.

Too late you got them

So like you said, great pro at a position we have 2 guys who played pretty well in. First guy is a long time vet that proved he's underrated and the other, ayoung guy that runs faster than Landry and has proven he can produce decent #s in the league.

Like I said, take the 2nd pick and pick Landry who is redundant in this offense.

Who are you taking with the 1st rounder and 3rd rounder that would give us an electric player. DAT? Dri Archer?

I'm taking Jason verrett to top off our secondary and take doubt out of the second corner spot and going after speed in the 3rd.

Fun bunch where have you been. I'm saying don't draft cooks. And get Verret in first round, Jarvis in second round or maybe trade 2/3 to move up and take marquise lee. If not lee then use 3rd rounder as well.

Ok, well I asked for a yes or no, but fair enough. Draft aside, who gives the New Orleans Saints a better chance to win games considering our offensive tendencies and current personnel... Cooks or Landry?

Play by the rules this time. All I need is a name.

Is Dont Question Me a great troll or a terrible one?

I can't decide.
