I'd bring some to you this weekend, but I'm already going to one FBDers house for a little trade and that already creeps the wife out enough. I don't know if she can handle 2

I can meet you at a store or fast food joint if it makes her feel better.
My wife just rolls her eyes at me for shite like this these days.

This Golden Canary is delicious. And to think that I almost put it in a box for UT...

Congrats, but you got a window seat. Gonna be a hassle all flight to get up and march to the WC.

I feel bad for the person sitting next to Steakbomb...he's a big dude, will have to piss a few times, and after 8 beers he'll probably have the beer farts.

Only 2 today after an 8 mile trail run.

FBD Beer Army Heroes Never Die IPA. Better than expected.

SBD Blackwater Draw Contract Killer porter. Good stuff. Polished off the growler with friends.

Oh, and I was given another dorm fridge this evening. Was hoping it might fit a carboy or bucket for homebrewing, but nope. So it'll be cellar #2 now.

$2 craft cans? Hand pulled IPA by dry dock brewing? Firestone Walker DBA and Velvet Merkin on tap?

There is just so much special about this place

SBD was the cask of the double IPA by dry dock. They're a local brewery near aurora.

What style is that? Gimme a fuller review. ETA more full?
Bayou Teche Spur is their pale ale (which I'm not a fan of) aged in oak barrels.

I don't typically like pale ales or IPAs in any barrels but this works well. For reference I gave Jai Alai Cedar Aged a 3.5/5. I gave Spur 4.0

If I'm in Laffy I'm going to pickup more (haven't seen it in BR)

NBDs: tasters of dessert beer.

2 on the left (from L to R): FW DBA and Velvet Merkin, respectively.

2 on the right (L to R): Samael's/Avery Demonic Barleywine(16.9%) and Evil Twin Biscotti break imperial stout.

Damn. This is an incredible group of beers.
