How long have you had your pillow?

I've had the same pillow for probably close to 20 years now.
This pillow has been with me through puberty, through college, through those awkward few years after college, and been with me through marriage till my freaking wife decided that she was too disgusted by it and threw it away last night.
WTF? Surely I'm not the only one who has had the same pillow for most of their life...right? It is/was the perfect stiffness, the perfect height, the perfect...the perfect pillow goddammit!
She said it was disgusting and probably a health hazard. I think she is just jealous of the memories that me and that pillow have had together.

I've had my pillow for about 9 months. I got it when I purchased our new memory foam mattress, they threw it in for free. We usually change out pillows every year or two at the most.

im picky about my pillows so ill keep them for as long as i can. The one i have now isnt that old, a year or 2. But i'll ride it as long as i can

I'm with you, man. I've had the same pillow about 15 years now, and it's probably a little older than that.
Very firm, latex pillow that I can NOT find a similar one to replace it. Everything now is too damn fluffy or made from memory foam. And I look for a new one constantly. I would LOVE to get rid of this old arse pillow, but not without finding an equivilant replacement.
ETA: the 2 other pillows I sleep with are regularly replaced, but not the one my head is on.

I've had mine for a year. It's the Dream Infinity (Sp?) pillow with the cool gel top. Damn that thing is fine. It was only like 25 dollars too.
