Go Here When in Northern California
We hit a tasting last summer north of SF, and they have some great cheeses. We were at the Point Reyes location, but I see they also have a shop in Washington, D. C. Worth a stop for sure.

Cave aged emmenthaler from Whole Foods. Tastes like swiss that been buried out in the yard for a bit. Good stuff.

Tartufo truffle gouda is always a favorite as is Rogue River blue cheese. The Rogue River is wrapped in grape leaves and soaked in pear brandy.

Tartufo means truffle FYI

Was in the San Juan Islands in Washington last week. Had some really good extra Cougar Gold made at Wash State. Good smoked Gouda too

I love Cypress Grove, esp Lamb Chopper. I think my favorite is Blackberry Farm's Singing Brook. It's a hard cheese, like a really earthy parm.

The brie at Whole Foods, whether it's regular or goat cheese brie. Also the cranberry cheddar cheese there is legit.
