Last black friday I pulled the trigger on 60" LCD now yesterday I walk into restaurant and see world cup on 80" tv in HD.

Fast forward a few hours walk back into house and see measly 60" it looks like fricking mini me. Dammit it is almost football season and I am going bigger

Anybody else have this issue also?

If you want to go that big, you should probably just go projector at that point

It's not the tv it's your eyes. I'd get them checked.

I remember being in Bahrain quite a few years ago, and one of the representatives we had there bought a TV that was probably 60, possibly more.

Liquor, drugs, hookers, food, he had it all there, but this Tunisian Swiss dude couldn´t stop fawning over, and raving about, his fricking TV.

Just be glad that your complaint in life is that your TV is never big enough.

Make sure you won't be staring at big-arse pixels at your view distance during regular viewing. Keep in mind most HD content is broadcast in 720p, and 1080i sometimes. Premium on-demand movies will be in 1080p.

Bigger TVs aren't a status symbol as much as bigger rooms are. Improperly sized TVs for the room are a symbol of stupid.

No. The room my TV hasn't grown since I bought my TV and we haven't moved where we sit to watch TV; therefore I have no need for a bigger TV.

An 80" will chamge the way you enjoy tv. Picture quality is incredible on a Sharp Aquos, and it can now be had for around $3K - half of what they cost when first released. It is the best money you will ever spend. It takes video games to a whole new level also.

I hope you are 12, because this sounds really childish.
