It's been too long. I don't wanna wait for tomorrow to get this discussion started back up.

=======================

quote:

Unexpected visitors arrive in Mole's Town. Littlefinger's motives are questioned. Ramsay tries to prove himself to his father. Tyrion's fate is decided.

=======================

Recap of where the story lines stand:

The Vale -

Last thing we saw was Littlefinger throw someone who isn't Cat out the moondoor. Will Sansa rat him out or does she realize he is her best chance for survival?

Bumfrick nowhere -

Arya and tHound are on their way to the Vale still.. right? I don't even know anymore, they've been traveling for so damn long. They are super fun to watch though. Most consistently awesome scenes of the season.

Also Pod and BoT are on their way to the Vale. They're a cute little duo.

Dreadfort -

Ramsay is prepping Reek to play the role of Theon for some yet unknown reason. Is he going to help Ramsay take that fort I don't know the name of or is it something else?

Beyond the Wall

Bran is doing Bran-like things.... hodor

Mareen -

Dany is ruling over there and it appears she doesn't enjoy it as much as she thought. She enjoyed that dick tho namsayin? I'd personally rather they just drop her storyline until she becomes relevant to the main story. We all know it's going to happen eventually.

Dragonstone/Braavos

Stannis and Davos have their money and assuming an army to go with it. Mel is still doing sexy things. I'm a little worried about the black cloud hanging over Shireen after Mel and Stan's wife's conversation.

The Wall -

Poor Jon. Nobody gives a shite about what he has to say. They'll learn soon enough.

King's Landing -

Oh boy. The fight of the century is upon us.

Oberyn is set to fight the Mountain (see title of episode) with Tyrion's life hanging in the balance. The opinions on the outcome of the fight is pretty split between the Hodors but I think every one can agree that, regardless who wins/loses, it's going to be a long way from over.

Well, shite. Guess my thread hosting days are over for this season. I'm heading to Oz next week, and will miss Episodes 9 & 10. But then again, I'll be having a real adventure, instead of having one vicariously through the magic of television!

I would support a spinoff show called The Adventures of Arya and The Hound.

Bout time this thread was made. Bad enough I've got to wait 2 weeks for a new GoTs but I see the Measters having a new thread everyday and I have nowhere to discuss

Fort I don't know the name of

Moat Cailin. Looks like Theon is approaching it from the previews.

Really important for lord bolton, warden of the north, to take this fort in the Neck if he actually wants any power in the north

No way Sansa rats out LF

Arya is turning into a killer, that's pretty interesting and entertaining

I'm tired of the stupid Theon storyline #nodicknocare

Interested in Bran's storyline, not sure what's up with the tree but it probably has something to do with the tree in Winterfell

Dany, who cares, really? #nonudescenenocare

Stannis has an army now, I'm guessing he won't wait too long before taking action. Hopefully he is smarter about it this time. The Shireen story is interesting. Will Stannis sell his soul (daughter) to the devil, or will this turn him against Mel?

I have a feeling that Jon will meet up with Mance sooner, rather than later. Should be an interesting battle.

Oberyn will kill the shite out of the Mountain, #teamoberyn

I cannot wait for sunday.

Finding out there was not going to be an episode an hour before it was supposed to air last week was a real big kick in the balls.

While discussing GoT with my dad, he brought up Tyrone the Gimp.

Just thought I'd share with everybody.

Don't know about the fight. I still think Oberyn wins despite the game of thrones aspect. That aside, Oberyn drives the plot more. The Mountain is just a big thug.

No idea what will happen when everyone gets to the Vale. Not all will live, though, I don't think. Littlefinger wants Sansa because she doesn't know what a real dick looks like.

No way Sansa rats out Littlefinger.

I really hope Oberyn wins, which means he probably wont

I missed the last episode, and I noticed HBO 2 isn't replaying it before the new one tonight (like they usually do).

Should I wait and watch them both consecutively when I can (later this week) or should I watch the one tonight and watch the previous one later?

Basically, any earth shattering spoilers, etc happen during the last one?

Does any show know how to punch you in the stomach quite like Thrones?

The wife and I just sat silently thru the credits with our hands over our mouths. A phenomenal episode with a vintage GoT, soul-crushing final scene. This episode made me start drinking after I watched it.

God damnit I knew when Oberyn was walking around the Mountain demanding a confession he was fricking up. His death was fricking brutal too. As someone who hasn't been fazed by anything in this show yet, that was hard to watch.

Also the scene with the Hound and Arya finding out about Lysa's death was goddamn hilarious. I was rolling before Arya even started laughing. I was kinda pissed we didn't get to see whether Arya and Sansa reunite.

Can someone explain to me the "snow" name.

Is John Snow related somehow to Ramsay Bolton or Ramsay "Snow"? Or is snow a name given to bastard sons?

I must say, last night's episode IMo was BY FAR THE BEST episode of this season...so intense from beginning to end.

-Wildling attack (not normally into the Wildling storyline, but that attack was well done), Sansa/Littlefinger awesomeness (OMG, this is getting good with these 2), Khalisi banishing her most trusted advisor (so sad, so sad), and of course the shocking Trial by death (holy-F-in-shite unexpected ending).

awesome, awesome, awesome episode beginning to end. Totally "changed my mind" after the LSU-Houston debacle.
