I guess we were to infer that the virus LEARNED and Evolved and didn't want the hosts to die until they got out of the building.
True. I guess that could explain it a bit, but they certainly didn't seem to infer that during the show. Makes enough sense I guess, at least in Fringe terms.

And good call (I think it was Myth) on Olivia all of a sudden losing her deadeye accuracy against the sheriff and his deputy. Normally she rattles off headshots with her eyes closed, but she missed this time. A lot.
i thought it was ALT Olivia who was the accuracy shooter

Ok, so i started this show yesterday and i just finished the season one finale...what the hell kind of finale was that!? They have this big buildup with the other universe or whatever you call it in the 20th episode and Olivia finally gets face to face with Spock and then..nothing..back to a monster of the week episode for the finale, does this Rusk guy at least play a part going forward?
Oh well, on to season 2, sorry if i bumped this and i wasnt supposed to yet

Netflix messed you up.
Episode 21 on Netflix actually aired in season 2 when it was originally shown.
The episode was shot in season 1 but it was held back and due to a future storyline which you will see soon, there is no good place to put the episode.
Olivia in the alternate universe was the season finale and season 2 picks up where that one left off.
Episode 21 is an odd aberration. DON'T read up on it or you will be spoiled.
21 actually aired around episode 11 of the second season but it is just as out of place there as it is at the end of season 1.
You wil know why soon.

Before the finale of season 1. Not sure if there were any other plot problems but it seems like it would have worked better at any point before she visits the Alternate Universe.
Not sure why Netflix sticks it at the end of season 1.
As I said, a few episodes into season 2 it will become apparent why it CAN'T work where they showed it originally in season 2.

I sort of recruited him in another thread from a couple days ago. I told him about spoilers but that nothing should be straight up ruined for him, certainly not for a while.
Also, I forgot to put my thoughts of the last two episodes from this week's discussion..
The Bishop Revival.
Good call on the no hazmat suits in a room full of dead people. Are they insane? And then Walter just straight up takes the inhaler and breathes it..wtf?
And even after they figure it's the cinnamon shite, they keep sniffing shite left and right. Wouldn't that be a HORRIBLE way to test if something is the trigger smell?
Random note: It's raining and Olivia just left her window down when she got out of the car.
All this time and Peter STILL doesn't carry a gun. Also, Peter always having his shirts tucked in bugs the frick out of me for some reason.
Go into house with masks on. Take them off when all is clear. Find secret basement science lab lair. Go down there without putting masks back on. Makes sense.
Walter just casually bossing it up and killing the bad Nazi guy was awesome.
Jacksonville.
We finally get universee colliding...FINALLY!
I think of all the shite on the show so far, the combination of the two guys in the beginning of this episode is the most disturbing thing I've seen. That was legit creepy.
Finally get to the glimmer Liv sees with altverse shite, and finally get confirmation that Peter is from there. IIRC, the plot really starts to ramp up now in terms of the multiverses. So that should be cool.

damn you, I'm already on episode 4 of season 2

I told you that you can go along with the pace of the thread (three per week) or hustle through the whole thing. Even if you hustle through the series, try to participate in the discussions if you can. Right now there are only a few of us actively doing so.

i plan to participate some once i get caught up to the discussion, but i am not watch at the three a week pace, i am gonna finish the series so i can participate more. I should have the series finished next week some time

OP updated with next three episodes.
NOTE: The only thing left for season two is a two-parter season finale. Do ya'll want to just add that to this week's assignment, or wait until next week and just have that two-part finale? I feel like there are so few of us these days we could do whatever we wanted. I think I could manage adding it to this week's list fairly easily...I had to make myself stop at White Tulip this weekend. Thoughts?

That above post basically goes out to catholic and Myth, since we are the main ones participating anymore.
Others feel free to chime in though.
