Even so though, I have been called a bigot and homophobe excuse I think homosexual acts are a sin. I have never disrespected gays, but yet I get targeted for having a different faith. How is that right? I just want tolerance to work both ways and for people to be able to make their own opinions without being pressured.

You arent a homophobe or a bigot for thinking its a sin. However, arguing gay marriage should be illegal based on that belief skirts dangerously close to the line of bigotry. Its using a personal belief to restrict the contractual freedom of consenting adults.

This attitude is fricking hilarious. Someone recommends implementing slightly stricter gun control laws and everyone goes nuts about the constitution! But when some students want to organize a protest and exercise their right to assemble, somehow that's off limits. Phil Robertson is allow to have his own opinion, but if the students feel that those opinions are based on hatred and that it is not appropriate to honor him at their schools graduation, then they are also entitled to that opinion and they have the right protest because of it.

If you think they're over reacting, then say why, but they aren't denying anyone their right to have an opinion. That's fricking dumb. They're simply expressing their own opinion. It's as simple as that.

I stated earlier I could care less what the state thinks, as long as there is no pressure from the state put on the Catholic Church once it is legal.

The only haters are homo’s themselves. They hate you if you disagree with their life style, that’s messed up.

They make a choice and don't like the consequences of that decision. The marriage argument is based on money IMO. If it is just about "acceptance" why do they so desperately seek the approval of people that will never approve of them?

That's not really fair. To be seen is "equals" in the eyes of the law should be important to any American

What the frick does that even mean?

You say something that some people don't agree with and there's social repercussions?

Yeah, that happens anytime someone states their opinion that differs from person to person.

This country is so whipped.

The constitution, the 14th amendment and the right to due process and equal protection disagrees with you.

Sorry to hear you hate something that's made our country great.

Anybody know how they really make their $, and why don't you hear anything of the Faulk game calls anymore?

Hunting videos is where they made a lot of money. My pastor and I got a chance to talk with Phil about 12 years ago, and he told us that duck call/merchandise money was good, but he was amazed at how much they were making with hunting videos. I remember them getting a lot of endorsements about that time as well.

Is this an actual freedom?

And speaking of legality, isn't sodomy against the law?

No. They own a huge oil lease. The whole duck fortune thing is bullshite. Yes, they did make money off of it, but not 500 million dollars.

That's all that happened. Some students are passing a petition around Facebook, but it has lass than 200 signatures. There would be an uproar from hell if they revoked the honor and the university knows that.
