At the end of the day it's still a sexual preference. Its not a gender or race, your grouping yourself based on a sexual preference, and expecting everyone else to heap praise on you and call you a hero for shouting from the mountain tops you have a different sexual preference.
If there was a mass desensitization effort for people who like to frick goats for example, eventually people would not find it strange and bleeding hearts would come running to tell us all not to judge someone for loving their goat.
Eta: thinking about it further, should polygamists be able to marry and enjoy the tax and insurance benefits? Should a man be able to marry 30 women and be characterized as a hero for coming out with his polygamist views?

If tech has incubated ground breaking research in the fields you stated and aren't tooting their hiring... Shame on them.

Not really. It may be to non-Christians and even some Christians. BUT we do have freedom of religion. This was said inside a church. It was not an OPINION. It was taken right out of the bible the people of that religion are supposed to live by.

I have a son and 3 cousins that graduated from Tech. Their product is pretty well known. The best and brightest had jobs with great companies before the graduated.
