You need to find someone that is a season ticket holder that you are friends with. Let them know you will pay them some money if they can get tickets for you. A lot of people are doing this because it is the only way without paying much higher for rights from someone you don't know.

I've been doing that for at least 4 years now. My friends say they've never gotten their request for more seats filled. The guy I know with 8 sets says he will let me know, but I'm sure he would just buy them himself

I would consider up to a 4 year deal. That'll get you thru Drew's contract!

See, if I don't get the rights, then I'm just a renter. I won't even get the opportunity to request more (for me when you want yours back) because I won't be a season ticket holder.

I may consider buying yours though...

I meant was this the first time they've done that or has it happened in prior seasons? Just curious.

This is the first time I've ever gotten this email in 5 years.

Been on since summer of 09 before sb season. I'm not playing the game right it seems. I have a better chance of becoming a British soccer season ticket holder than I do a saints.

At least I'm closer to Bama season tickets due to my yearly contributions

Good for you. It doesn't mean everyone else could. And how do you come up with $100 for season tickets? You're saying they cost $10 a game when you got yours?

Fwiw I had them in college at lsu. They were 150 for season in terrace. I had them the year Manning went for like 8 tds on Sunday night football. They were very cheap at one point. Wish I had hung on to them when I moved out of state.

I was in NOLA for the whole summer that year and went to training camp. Got Colston and Brees to sign my jersey. Thought I'd just go ahead and buy some tickets, go on the waiting list, couldn't take too long, right?

Saints Wait List Number: 27,487

I honestly don't remember when I signed up. I'm thinking it was 2008 or 2009.

5,866 - signed up in 2006 after attending all 4 of the games in Tiger Stadium

I've been contacted once since I've been on the list. I was offered club level seats @ over $2k each. I couldn't swing that at the time seeing how I want at least 2 tickets.

The good news about the Saints dropping assholes like PubicBengal is that I think this will reduce the amount of opposing team's fans in the dome. Newly minted season ticket holders will be less likely to give up their seats, because of how long they have waited, so the Saints will have a better home field advantage.

Thank you. That's what I've been saying. Even if the Saints have a losing season or two, the people on this list for all these years are not giving them up. And why should we see so many opposing teams fans at our games? I went to the Dallas game last year and there were more Cowgirls fans around me than Saints fans

Eta: and yes, I had to buy my tickets from a scalper. Paid a little over double face value.

That logic is specious at best. And even if it were true, visiting fans are terrific for the local economy. The more people who come and spend money in New Orleans the better it is for the city.

That situation has always existed. Cowboys, Packers and a couple other teams always have a good presence in the Dome. Those are probably local people who've grown up cheering for other teams because the Saints were so bad for so long.

The Falcons used to bring thousands into the Dome in the 1990's and early 2000's. Not many show up the last 5 years.

I can buy some tickets for you at the end of the agreement or I might just sell you (or anyone else) my tix for good

honestly though when my appt came up to add seats this year there wasn't much available, mostly scattered singles

Partly true. But we talked to a few of them and they came in from Dallas. I was literally sitting in scalper haven

Nobody sitting there seemed the owner of those seats. There was me and my wife in Saints gear surrounded by Dallas gear.

You should be around 70,000 or so away. So basically, once the entire Superdome of season ticket holders givers there's up, you're next in line!

Talked to a few friends yesterday and all said the same thing. The guy who I thought owned 8 pairs actually owns 8 seats. He told me they capped him starting this year at those 8. So at least their limiting this down now. I should get a call in about 5 years or so now

I talked to my little brother about your pair and he can't go in with me. I'm still debating it. I don't want to buy them just to sell them to make my money back. The idea is to have them for me to go and for my family when I'm not in town. But they have to be affordable for them.
