This list is all northeast and Chicago. I believe there is New York, New Jersey and everyone else. I'd take New Orleans pizza over Chicago, Boston, or Philly. But after NY-NJ you're just bickering.

Just curious -- what pizza in New Orleans is elite? I've had Domenica, Ancora, and numerous others but while I think they're good, I don't think they can compare to places I grew up eating in the northeast. I can't really comment on Chicago because I've never been there.

Honestly and bizarrely, the best pizza I've had is in Phoenix.

What about Baton Rouge pizza? Fleur-de-lis alone should have them at least top 5.

I could find pizza I like in any city. Fact.

The best pizza I ever had was in Provence, France, although I'm quite willing to admit that the location and my mindset at the time may have contributed to the fond memories of it.
I will say, after having lived in NY for over 10 years, the pizza here is somewhat overrated. Can you find very good pizza here? Yes. However, the vast majority of pizza here is too doughy, too processed cheese laden, and has bland sauce. Just my opinion.

Anyone remember M's Fine and Mellow Cafe in Baton Rouge? They made an excellent pizza.

I hear Austin has good pizza, any truth to this? I'm going this weekend

If you want, I can get Chicken to change your user name to HatesChicago.

I checked and he said he could do ChiSuX for you. Just PM him or post a request on help board. evidently your attitude is well known.

I'm a fan of thin crust, and by far the best thin crust I've ever eaten was at J Bella's Pizzeria in Paducah, KY. Last place I ever expected to find great pizza.
