Yet Wisconsin has some of the most active players in the NFL...
Its going to be a close game and low scoring. Its going to be a grind it out, run the ball type of game.
For those that dont know, Wisconsin has the best RB in the country on their team. Would have been the #1RB in the draft this year, decided to come back. Melvin Gordon.

Do you even Leonard Fournette, bro?

LSU 20 Wisconsin 9
It will be 13-9 in the 4th and Wisconsin's worn out starting defense will give up a 40+ yard run to Leonard Fournette to clinch the game for the Tigers. This will symbolize the beginning of a remarkable career for LF and Buga-nation.
The passing game will be very limited, but mainly because Les chooses to protect his young QB and sees no reason to risk a turnover.
This is how I see the game going, if not very similar.

People expecting a blow out for us are going to be disappointed. Wisconsin is a good football team, it will be a close game, especially considering our youth on offense.

I don't think it will be a blowout, but I don't think Les Miles being on the sideline is the reason why either. I expect a very similar game to the outback bowl.

Oregon politely says for you to STTDB.

Miles has 17 games against OOC BCS teams.
He has 15 wins and 2 losses.
The two losses are by a combined 3 points.
Three of the 15 wins are by less than a TD.
One is by a TD.
The remaining 11 of the 17 games against OOC BCS teams under Miles were double digit LSU victories.
In 8 of the 17, LSU won by 3 TDs or more.
But yea, we'll probably lose or just barely win because that's what Miles always does because he sucks.

the Oregon game wasn't your traditional blowout. LSU fans like to pick at Oregon. But, that was a good team.

Winning is so sucky, right?

Or we could look at the last 3 OOC teams we played worth a crap….Clemson, Iowa, TCU.
LSU should win but 7-9 pts with the game never being put out of reach feels about right

Agreed, I don't see LSU delivering the "killshot" to Wisconsin.
Ingeneral some posters are underestimating Wisconsin.

People keep saying this one will be "close", "like the Iowa game", etc.
On offense, this Wisconsin team returns a solid O line and really good running back. However, it will be tough sledding against a very good LSU D line. Also, Stave will have trouble passing vs a great LSU secondary, especially since they have little talent at WR.
Inversely, Wisc returns 3 on defense (none of their front 7). LSU's veteran O line should have no problem opening a hole for any of our running backs (particularly the highly touted Fournette).
Their DB's a year ago were bad... really bad. LSU will showcase a very talented WR corps in the 2014 season (not to mention the option to throw out of the backfield to Neighbors or in the flats to D Smith).
Even with serviceable QB play, LSU should win this thing handily.

They lose their front seven. I have a feeling they will still put 9 to 10 in the box and we will struggle throwing. Will be a big 10 type of game and we win by 7 but it isn't pretty again

I hope LSU blows them out. I would love for LSU to totally embarrass them. In fact I think the game will be so lopsided it will be over by the third quarter.
In fact I wish LSU would play Ohio State, Michigan, or Michigan State.
