With the 7th pick of the NFL Draft the Tampa Bay Bucaneers draft Blake Bortles QB UCF
The Bucs have a new coaching staff and has filled many of their glaring needs. They are open to a number of different options with this pick. Drafting a future franchise qb wasn't on their list of needs but its definitely on the radar of highly interested. With their #1 rated qb prospect falling in their laps, they will not pass on Bortles. He's a local Florida boy that Lovie can see being his quarterback for years down the road. He can sit behind Josh McCown for maybe the 1st year. Mike Glennon is not Lovie's guy. Evans and Ebron were others considered.

With the 8th pick of the NFL Draft the Minnesota Vikings will take Justin Gilbert CB Oklahoma St.
Vikings aren't in love with Teddy. They pass and will look at the position in later rounds. Vikings are high on Evans and have some big needs to fill on the defensive side of the ball. Pryor was of consideration but Justin Gilbert has what new coach Mike Zimmer wants. GIlbert has drawn many comparisons to Terrance Newman who has flourished under Zimmer's defensive scheme. Justin fills a tremendous need for the vikings and will make an immediate impact and upgrade for this team.

Man, I wanted everything contained in the OP, but I'm already exceeding the character limit.

You're gonna have to remove the pics. Those kill character limits
This and you could even use the one underneath Chad's post

I'd get rid of all pics. Its cool and all, but with how you have it formatted it is not necessary.

I'm going to have to finish it all later. I'm going to try to put the pick write up in the second post below the OP. We should be good.

9.
With the 9th pick in the NFL draft, the Buffalo BIlls select:
Eric Ebron, Tight End, North Carolina
10.
With the 10th pick in the NFL draft, the Detroit Lions select Darqueze Dennard, CB, Michigan State

With the top 2 tackles off the board, the second biggest need for the Buffalo BIlls is at the tight end spot. The Bills shocked everyone when they selected Manuel in last years draft, and they are looking to add a security blanket for their quarterback. Ebron racked up an ACC record of 973 yards at North Carolina last season and has the potential to give the BIlls a much needed weapon.

With the 10th pick in the NFL draft, the Detroit Lions select Darqueze Dennard, CB, Michigan State
quote:
With Mike Evans on the board, the Lions are tempted to pull the trigger on him to help pull attention away from Megatron. However, they have bigger needs to fill. Their defense is a major problem, and the Lions have to improve their secondary. By adding the 2013 Jim Thorpe winner, Dennard, the Lions take a big step in improving their defense

That's going to be a tough choice for the Lions. CB or WR.

I'd throw aaron donald's hat into that tough decision.

I think the signing of Tate gives them a strong presence at #2 that they can improve their CB. They are HORRID in the secondary and that is an understatement.

I think they give Fairley one last chance to prove his worth before searching for his replacement

and if he does prove his worth... they still have to pay him... on top of suh... johnson, stafford...etc.
